Welcome Message from Head of School

Founded in 2007, Renaissance International School is a highly regarded educational institution and one that has served the local and expatriate communities of Saigon with distinction over the course of the past decade.

Not only is the school fully accredited by the Council of International Schools and received an excellent BSO inspection report, our students graduate into leading colleges and universities and our IB Diploma scores are consistently above world average.

Our curriculum across the Early Years to Key Stage 3 is based on the requirements of the English National Curriculum, modified in part to meet the needs of a diverse international school community. In Key Stage 4 our students study a range of subjects that lead to the award of the International General Certificate of Secondary Education whilst our Year 12 and Year 13 students our students are involved in the International Baccalaureate.

As a Round Square school we are united around a shared belief in an approach to education based on a collective commitment to the Round Square IDEALS – Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership and Service – and to four Core Values: the pursuit of academic and personal excellence, a student-centred teaching and learning environment, a strong family focus and an inherent respect for ourselves, our planet and each other.

The school boasts excellent facilities including purpose built classrooms, specialist facilities for art, music, science and drama, a 350 seat theatre, an indoor 25 metre swimming pool and a large sporting field. Our teachers are recruited internationally and are united by the common desire to ensure the best for the students.

In closing Renaissance International School Saigon is an outstanding educational institution and one that has a vibrant and exciting future. Please therefore accept this welcome as an invitation to visit the school and to witness, first hand a dynamic and culturally diverse international school community.

Mr Peter Gittins,

Head of School
