Renaissance International School Saigon was established in 2007 and opened by HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York, in the presence of guests representing government, industry and the corporate sector of Vietnam. The school is located in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, around 15 minutes from the city centre. The establishment of the school was the collective vision of two families committed to quality education in Vietnam.
The General Director, Mr Nguyen Tuyen and Ms Nguyen Thuy Quynh with like-minded associates wanted to establish an international school in District 7 that offered a British and international curriculum for Vietnamese and international families.
The name reflects the school’s philosophy in that Renaissance literally means “rebirth” or “revival”. Our school name symbolises a rebirth of interest in, and commitment to, quality education and life-long learning. Renaissance is committed to being the leading international school in Ho Chi Minh City.
